| Happy 4th of July, Fuller Cousins!! |
Greetings, Fuller Cousins!
Happy 4th of July weekend
to you all! This year is moving by so quickly. I hope that you are staying cool. We are having very hot weather in
the east.
The summer newsletter is ready to be mailed on 7/6. I hope that you will enjoy it. Please
email me if you choose not to have the newsletter mailed to you. It is much nicer in color! I will
email it to you in PDF form or you may print it from the Member page on the website. If you need the sign on for the
member page, please send me an email. Those of you that are General Society members should have received
your Mayflower Quarterly. It was so wonderful to see St. Mary's Church depicted on both covers!!
Thank you Adrian for the pictures. A big thanks to John Kemp!
I am sorry to report that there was not a picture
of the plaque available for the July newsletter. The plaque is still being engraved. The wording
for the plaque is on the cover of the newsletter and I have been told that the "real thing" will be grand.
The dedication of the plaque has been scheduled for 1 May 2011. I will post details as they develop. If you would like to
go to Redenhall for the celebration, please email me. A group is making preparations to attend.
These are
very exciting times for the Fuller Society. Our membership continues to grow, we have a very dedicated board and an active
membership. The Fuller plaque has finally become a reality. A dream for us all is about to come true. Fifteen
years ago Mary Lee Merrill began her mission to honor Edward and Samuel at St. Mary's. Thank you, Mary Lee. You
have been an inspiration!
Have a wonderful summer everyone! John and I will spend a week at the Jersy shore and
I will be going to the General Society Board of Assistants meeting in San Diego, CA in early September. I am honored
to have been nominated as the DGG-elect for PA.
I hope that I will see many of you in the fall for our annual
meeting in Bennington, VT. Details and the registration form are in the newsletter.
